Revisit.com
is intended to showcase my work and
skill-set, and to share a few tips
that may help anyone involved in the
Japanese web.
At
this point, a brief
introduction is probably in order.
I'm a Brit, living in Tokyo since
April 1995. I
worked for a series of Japanese and
foreign companies before striking
out on my own in late 2001. On the
Web front, I have been building
sites since late 1995, and currently
manage a network of web properties
that welcomes over half a million
monthly visitors.
While
continuing to manage and extend my
network of sites, I'm also
working in an advisory capacity for
Next
Unit, a content management,
web development and localization
company in Omotesando.
I
invite you to learn more about my skills
and the services
I can offer your organization to help
you succeed in the Japanese
marketplace.

About
the name
I chose the name
"Revisit.com"
for this site since it
brings together two
key themes of a
successful website
promotion and
marketing strategy: visits
and return
visits.
While bringing
visitors to a site
is important, the
website must also meet
their expectations
in order to foster
return visits and
increase the
likelihood that a
given visitor will
eventually transact
business with that
site.
